Shockwave ( Radial/Focus) and EMTT

Radial Shockwave Therapy (Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy) is a new treatment method that gives controlled sonic pulses that fragment calcific deposits.

Focused Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (FESWT) is a newer non-invasive treatment of orthopedic disorders, deep-seated tendons,Ā bone stress injuries, tendinopathies, menā€™s health, wound healing, myofascial pain syndromes, and more.

Both methods are now available at GK Physiotherapy practice, which has theĀ newest devices currently available, by Storz Medical (MP100 mobile device generating up to 5 bar pressure as well as theĀ focused device Doulith SD1 T-TOP ULTRA)

Both Radial and Focused shockwave now officially act as aĀ fast and evidence-basedĀ substituteĀ to various surgical and medical procedures, with a 70-80% success rate.

The main conditions treated by Shockwave are Shoulder Calcific Tendinopathy,Ā Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar fasciitis, Tennis / Golfers Elbow, and other specific painful and debilitating conditions.

All treatments are always given as part of a full physiotherapy evaluation and medical consultation and are covered by all the main private health insurances such as BUPA, AXAPPP, AVIVA, WPA etc.

Magnetolith EMTTĀ® (Extracorporeal Magnetotranduction Therapy) uses high-energy magnetic fields for regeneration and rehabilitation at a cellular level. The treatment involved a direct anti-inflammatory response, reducing both pain and inflammation in affected areas of the body. EMTT helps patients with acute pain presentation, irritable flare-ups, neuropathic pain, diffused pain, and degenerative pathologies such as osteoarthritis. EMTTĀ® is highly tolerated, even with the most painful conditions such as rheumatic patients.

Vascular Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Extracorporeal Focused Shock Wave Therapy has been used for the treatment of vascular erectile dysfunction since 2010. During treatment, low-intensity shock waves are applied to different areas of the penis. This stimulates the creation of new blood vessels in the cavernous bodies and improves blood flow in the penis (and the ability to achieve an erection).
